tätä tulikin väännettyä koko päivä pitkään ja hartaasti, puoli tuntia kerrallaan...pitempään ei jaksanut pystyssä pysytellä, mutta pakko oli saada aikaan p*skis parin viikon tauon jälkeen... =)
vettä ja H2O väriä...niillä leikittiin taas tänään..bingoon oikea rivini on pitsi - kohokuviointi - haaraniitti. tausta cuttiksen taskulla, vedellä ja H2O värillä lääräten. pitsi ja kukat kurkistaa tuolta lovesta. timpan haaraniittejä kuvan vierellä.

this took me all day to make..bit by bit...about an half an hour at a time...just couldn't stay up more at a time, but i had to participate to p*skis after a two week break.. =)
water and an H2O color..had fun playing with those two again...my correct line to bingo is lace - embossing - brads. background embossed with cuttlebug's folder. lace and flowers peek from a notch. tim's brads are lined up next to the image.

Sugar Bowl #52

Sugar Bowlin luonnos näytti niin kivalle että pitkästä aikaa otan haasteeseen osaa tällä gorguss tyttö kortilla. Värittelin kuvan H2O väreillä. Kaivelin jämäpalasia ja löysin MMEn papereita sekä tuon DCWVn kohokuvioidun ja hiotun kartongin palasen. Kaikki reunat maalasin distress crackle paintilla picket fence. Kuvan takana harsokukkia. Teksti napsuteltu dymolla läpinäkyvälle nauhalle. Iloista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

The sketch looked so fabulous at the Sugar Bowl that I just had to make a card to the challenge and here's my take on it. I colored the gorjuss girl image with H2Os. All bits and pieces I found from my box of left-over scraps. Papers are by MME. The hot pink piece is embossed with cuttlebug's folder of DCWV's card stock and sanded. All edges are painted with distress crackle paint picket fence. Behind the image are crape flowers. Text is clicked with a dymo on transparent tape. Have a happy week!! =)

Leimailutaivas #5 - kevät 2011

Se on sitten aika tämän kevään viimeisen Leimailutaivaan haasteen, toivottavasti viikon päästä nähdään. Haaste kuuluu että pitää olla jotain leimattua ja alla näkyy luonnos. Mun kortissa luonnos on aika sovellettu ;) Leimakuvan tausta on tehty alkoholimusteilla craft sheetillä pyöritellen musteita ja blenderiä pintaan. Siihen päälle leimasin Leanne Ellisin ihanan kuvan mustalla musteella. Sinertävä kuviopaperi on priman. Reunoja kävin läpi musteenlevittäjällä hinkaten. Lisäksi pitsiä ja metallikukka. Iloista viikonloppua!! =)

It's time for the last challenge for this spring at Leimailutaivas. The challenge is to stamp something and the sketch you can see below. I adjusted the sketch a bit for my card ;) The background for the stamped image is made with alcohol inks. I swirled it around my craft sheet with various colors and blender. On it I stamped the lovely Leanne Ellis image with black ink. The blue paper is by prima. I inked the edges with the ink blending tool. In addition some lace and a metal flower. ruskeaa ja turkoosia

Heips!! Tässä pari korttia ihanaisella LeAnne Ellisin leimalla. Kuvat värittelin yhdellä H2O värillä, toisen ruskealla toisen turkoosilla, sitten suihkautin kuvien päälle vettä että värit pikkuisen levahtaa. Ylemmän kortin tausta on kohokuvioitu cuttiksen taskulla, lumihiutaleen päällä taas diamond dustia, vähän "hammaslankaa" ja nappi. Alemman kortin taustapaperi on making memoriesin, johon leimailin walnut stainilla. Kukkia kanssa leimailtu ja värjätty walnut stainilla, lopuksi suihkautettu glimmer mistillä. Ruskeat näppylät tehty vivan "helmikynällä" ja sen jälkeen kertaalleen pyöräytetty ylösalaisin pöydälle niin ne vähän näyttää epämääräisiltä. Kulmakoristeet maalasin valkoisella akryylimaalilla, enimmät pyyhkäisin heti pois, että jäi vain kolosiin väriä.

Hello!! Here's two cars made with the lovely LeAnne Ellis stamp. I colored the images with H2O colors, the other with turquoise, the other with brown, then I misted them with water so that the colors would splatter. I made the background for the card on top with cuttlebug's embossing folder, then there's again some diamond dust on the snowflake, some floss and a button. In the card below the paper is by making memories to which I stamped on with walnut stain. I also stamped on the flowers and inked the edges with walnut stain, finally they're misted with glimmer mist. The brown spots are made with viva pearl pen and then I somehow managed to flip it upside down on my table, they now look a bit funny ;) The metal corners are aged with white acrylic paint.

rippikorttia pukkaa - confirmation card again

Tein viikonloppuna löytöjä honkkarista ja törmäsin noihin kukkiin joita kortissa on käytetty. Noo nyt mulla on uudestaan asiaa kyseiseen kauppaan kun sain melkein koko paketin kukat jo tähän käytettyä ;) Gorjuss tyttö on väritetty enimmäkseen H2O värein. Taustapaperit on Timpan. Kortti osallistuu Friday Sketchers ja Sir Stampalotin haasteisiin. Aurinkoista alkavaa juhannusviikkoa!! =)
I found those flowers from a store where I would never have thought to find them. Well I guess I'll be going there again soon as I used most of them in this card ;) The gorjuss girl is colored mostly with H2Os. The papers are by Tim. This card participates to Friday Sketchers and Sir Stampalot's challenges. Have a great week!! =)

Sugar Bowl #35

Vihdoin ja viimein saan jotain tännekin näytille...Sugar Bowlin luonnos miellytti silmää kovasti ja siihen haasteeseen on tämä kortti tehty. Lisäehtona haasteessa oli käyttää kierrätysmatskuja, minulla kierrätettyä on ruskeat kartongit (jotain pohjia) ja lehdet lävistin puhelinluettelon kartasta. Värittelin H2O väreillä ja distress inkeillä. Paperit ovat K&Companyn, teksti Melissa Francesin siirtokuva ja kirsikankukat purppurataivaasta.
Finally I got something to show you.. =) The sketch at Sugar Bowl really "spoke" to me and this card is to that challenge. The theme was recycling, so my recycled bits are the brown card stock pieces (some backings from paper pads) and the leaves are punched from telephone book's map pages. The image is colored with distress inks and H2Os. The papers are by K&Company, text is a Melissa Frances transfer and the cherry blossoms are from purppurataivas.

Aloitetaanpa aurinkoinen viikko sugar nelliellä. Yritin viime viikolla tehdä pari tuollaista kaktuskukkaa tämän ohjeen mukaan, harjoitukset jatkuvat ;) Kukan keskustassa huiman paljon glossyä ja timangeja. Kuva väritelty H2O värillä. Ja hiukan kuluttelin taas tuota loppumatonta kartonkisuikale varastoa. Aurinkoista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)
Let's start this sunny week with a sugar nellie card. I tried to make those cactus flowers with these instructions, I'll continue to practice ;) There's a lot of glossy in the middle and a few diamonds as well. The image is colored with an H2O color. And again tried to diminish my massive stash of card stock strips. Have a sunny week!! =)

Sugar Bowl #28

Harmittavan harvoin tulee tehtyä sugar bowl haasteeseen korttia, nyt oli kuitenkin niin ohittamaton luonnos että piti osallistua, pitsi oli lisäehtona. Kuva väritetty H2O väreillä. Teksti embossattu kullalla.
It's a shame how rarely I get to participate in the sugar bowl challenge, now the sketch is so inspiring that I have to take part, lace is the "please include". The image is colored with H2Os. The text is embossed with gold powder.

Oi vitsi kun oli kiva tehdä tätä korttia, toivottavasti se näkyy =) Taittelumallin näet paremmin täältä. Ihastuin kovasti ideaan ja pakko oli saada koittaa itsekin. Otin jopa inktense-kynät pitkästä aikaa esille ja värittelin gorjukset niillä, yhdellä värillä kylläkin. Eli ylin kuva on kortti edestä...
It was so much fun to make this card, hope it shows =) You can see the tutorial for it here. I really loved the idea and I had to try myself. I even took out my inktense pens for a while and colored with them, well at least one of them. The picture above is the front of the card...

Gorjuss Girl

Ostin tämän ihanan gorjuss tytön askartelukirppikseltä jokin aika sitten ja vasta saan siitä kortin aikaan. Tämä on ainokainen gorjukseni ja mutta ah niin ihana, tykkään tuosta isosta mekosta ja siivistä. Typsykkä väritelty distress inkeillä ja H2O väreillä. Kukissa ja "kehyksissä" on kimalleliimaa (kuvassa vielä märkää). Iloista alkavaa viikkoa! =)
I bought this lovely gorjuss girl a while back and haven't got around inking and coloring it until now. She's my only gorjuss stamp and I love her because of her gorgeous dress. She's colored with distress inks and H2Os. There's glitter glue on the flowers and "frames" (still wet in the picture). Have a great week! =)

Valkkasinpa semmoiset värit korttiini että kuvaus minun taidoillani osoittautui hyvinkin ongelmalliseksi - siksi siis kuvat ulkoa ja sisältä. Kuva on väritetty H2O värillä (forest green), valkoiset kehykset on kohotettu tarrapaloilla (kehykset tehty valkoiselle kartogille leimaten versamark dazzlella ja kirkkaalla uteella embossaten), pohjakartonki on mintun vihreä.
I sure picked the colors on my card, the photographing turned out to be very hard - that is why here are pictures taken outdoors and indoors. Image is colored with a H2O color (forest green), white frames are lifted with foam stickers (they're made on white card stock, stamped with versamark dazzle and embossed with clear utee), the base card stock is mint green.

Sugar Bowl #20

Iltaa! Ei uutisia, mutta vielä päivitys, lisää näitä pöydän kulmalla roikkuvia aloitettuja projekteja..sugar bowl haasteeseen tämä kortti. Luonnoksen mukaan piti kortti tehdä ja lisäehtona oli pukea leimakuva. Tytön liivi on puettu samaan paperiin kuin kaistale kuvan takana. Väritykset pitkästä aikaa inktenseillä ja distress inkeillä. Pikkutähdessä aavistus kimalleliimaa.
Good evening, no news, just a post...this is to Sugar Bowl. There's a sketch and the creation must include paper piecing. The girl's vest is of the same paper as the one behind the image. Coloring with inktenses and distress inks. There's some glitter glue on the little star.

Vihdoinkin! - Finally!

Tämä on ollut työn alla tuossa pyörimässä jo tovin, otin nyt itseäni niskasta kiinni ja tein tämän taskukortin valmiiksi. Paperi on MMEn. Väritykset distress inkeillä.
This has been on my table unfinished for a while now, today I decided to finish this pocket card. The paper is MME's. Coloring with distress inks.

Jehkotar CardChallenge #72

Ihanainen Gorjuss girl pääsi korttiin JCC:hen. Pohjaan on leimailtu Inque Boutiquen kukilla distress inkin faded jeansilla ja versamark dazzlella ja loput on tattered rosella "väritetty". Teksti on samaisesta Inque Boutiquen setistä kuin kukka. Boordissa on frayed burlapilla värjätyn kartongin päällä valkoista "seittiä". Leimakuvan väritin distress inkeillä. Iloista viikonloppua! =)
The lovely Gorjuss girl is the star in this week's JCC card. I've stamped Inque Boutique's flowers on the background with distress ink's faded jeans and versamrk dazzle and the rest is "colored" with tattered rose. The text is from the same Inque Boutique's set as the flowers. The border on the bottom is colored with frayed burlap and then sprayed with webbing spray. The image is colored distress inks. Gorjuss girl

Tämä lokeroidaan otsikon alle "tulipahan tehtyä"! siis ah ja voih! En ole kovinkaan tyytyväinen lopputulokseen, halusin niin tehdä tästä semmoisen "rock"-henkisen, mutta en löytänyt sopivia aineksia varastoistani. Tulipahan syy shoppailla ;)
This falls under the category "what have I done"! I mean c'mon!!! I'm not that happy with this one, I soooo wanted to make a "Rock" card of this one, but just didn't have the materials for it. Now there's a reason to go shopping ;)

The Sugar Bowl #13

Kuten kuvasta näkyy on distress inkit taas hyötykäytössä =) eli fired brickiä ja spiced marmaladea on käytetty kortissa. Rupesin tuhlaamaankin, noita dropseja, mutta onneksi ovat niitä "köyhän miehen" Robin's nestejä. ;) Kortilla osallistun ekaa kertaa Sugar Bowliin.
As you can see I've put my distress inks to work =) I've used fired brick and spiced marmalade in this card. I also started to squander those drops, but no worries, they are only the "poor man's" Robin's nests. ;) With this I'll participate to the Sugar Bowl for the first time.

Jehkotar CardChallenge #61

Ihana Katin luonnos tällä viikolla Jehkottaren haasteessa. Leimakuva Susalta ja väritetty inktensillä, kuva on kohopaloilla irti pohjasta. Oli tosi kiva tehdä tätä korttia, toivottavasti se näkyy =)
Lovely sketch from Kati this week at JCC. Image from Susa and coloured with an inktense, image is also elevated with foam pads. It was so much fun to make this card, hope it shows =)

Tässä vähän makiaista taas. Kuva väritetty inktenseillä. Minä lähden pienelle reissulle nyt muutamaksi päiväksi, MUTTA....kannattaa käydä täällä siitä huolimatta joka päivä kuikkimassa, heti huomiselle on luvassa jotain kivaa!! =)
Here's something sweet again. Image coloured with inktenses. I'm off to a little trip for a few days, BUT....you might wanna visit here anyways daily, because something fun is gonna happen right away tomorrow!! =)

CPS116

Kortti on tehty CPS:n haasteeseen. Kuvaus osoittautui taas hivenen ongelmalliseksi...Mutta jotain uuttakin kortista löytyy, minäkin koitin virkata kukkia..kukka on hirveän paksua villalankaa, mutta jotenkin tykkäsin siitä kun se on moniväristä. Väritykset inktenseillä ja distress inkeillä.
This card is made for CPS challenge. This yet again didn't photograph well..But there's something new here, I also tried to make a crochet flower...the flower is made of a thick wool thread, but I like it because it's multicolor. Colouring with inktenses and distress inks.
