JCC #90

nonni, viimeistä viedään JCC:ssa, nyyh! Iso Kiitos kivoista haasteista! Viikonloppu on ollut ihana aloittaa JCC:n kera. Valitsin tehtävänannosta Tarun, jolle kortin tein. Teksti on Timpan, kukat ja lehti leimat ovat inque boutiquen. Minulla oli aikaa askarrella, kun ipanalauma lähti jo aamulla kotia kohti..yksi ylimääräinen koira jäi vielä nurkkiin pyörimään. Toivottavasti vuoden vaihde sujui iloisissa merkeissä kaikilla. Minä istuskelin olohuoneen lattialla rauhoittelemassa yhtä täysin paniikissa olevaa koiraa ja kahta piti muuten vaan rauhoitella...telkkari täysillä, samoin radio, pyykkikone ja astianpesukone päällä meteliä tuomassa lisäksi, näin meillä yleensä vuodet vaihtuvat =) kun on hyvin paukkuarka koirus talossa.
well, it's farewell to JCC..Many thanks of all the fun challenges! It's been a great way to start the weekend with. I chose to make a card to Taru. The text is a Tim Holtz stamp, flowers and leave are inque boutiques. I had time to make the card as my guests left this morning to go home..an extra dog is still sniffing around here. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves last night. I sat on the floor on my living room trying to comfort a dog who was in total panic and at the same time tried to cool off two other dogs...TV was shouting, so was the radio, washing machine and the dish washer were also on to make some extra noise, this is how we spend our new year eves =) as our other dog is highly sensitive to big bangs.

JCC #89

Helou helou viikon tauon jälkeen...eilen illalla tai siis yöllä kävi ylivoimaiseksi askartelemattomuus ja halusin koittaa tehdä kukkaruukkukortin JCC:een. Paperit ovat MME:n ja kukat priman, reunoja hiukan tummennettu distress inkin frayed burlapilla. Iloista alkavaa viikkoa! =)
Hello hello after a week's break...last night my break Had to be over and I made a flower pot card to JCC. The papers are MME's and flowers from prima, the edges are darkened with distress ink's frayed burlap. Hope you have a great week! =)

Jehkotar CardChallenge #88

Uusimmasta Magnolian klubipaketista on tämä ihastuttava poitsu ja kortti on tehty JCC:een. Ihanaan luonnokseen jouduin lisäämään tuon ison tähden (peitelläkseni jotain kenties ???), mutta kun lainatulla leikkurilla olen reunan leikannut ja vain tuo pätkä oli jäljellä niin halusin sitä tähän käyttää...seli seli seli ;) Poitsu väritetty H2O väreillä ja distress inkeillä ja kohotettu tarrapaloilla pohjasta. Tähti embossattu distress kohojauheella (tea dye). Iloista viikonloppua kaikille! =)
From the newest stamp club kit is that lovely boy and this card is to JCC. I had to add that star (wishes merry christmas) to the lovely sketch (maybe to cover up something???). Edwin is colored with H2os and distress inks and elevated with sticker foam pads . The star is embossed distress powder (tea dye). Hope everyone enjoys their weekend! =)

JCC #87

Tämän tein jo päivällä odottelemaan että JCC julkaistaan (Maissilla ihastellessani bongasin aiheen). Nämä tirpuset ovat niin kovasti onnellisen oloisia, että ajattelin niiden käyvän hääkorttiinkin. Väritykset taas distress inkeillä.
I made this earlier today, I was waiting for JCC to get published (I noticed the theme while adoring Maissi's cards). These birdies look so happy together I thought they would fit in a wintery wedding card. Colorings with distress inks. Text translates "heartfelt congratulations to wedding couple".

JCC #86

Mustaa ja valkoista JCC:een. Meilläkin maisema vihdoin samankaltainen kuin kortissa. Leima on Cornish Heritage Farmsin ja se on embossattu valkoisella kohojauheella valkoiselle kartongille. Sitten distress inkin black sootilla päältä "töpötelty". Sen jälkeen on kostealla talouspaperilla pyyhitty embossattu leimakuva. Lopuksi vielä lisätty tehosteeksi kimallusta gelly roll clear star kynällä. Kuva otettu salamalla niin näkyy kimallus parhaiten. Iloista ja lumista viikonloppua kaikille! =)
Black and white to JCC. We finally have the same kind scenery as it is in the card. The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms and it's embossed with white powder on white card stock. Then I went over it with distress ink's black soot. Then I wiped the the embossed image with a damp paper towel. Then as an effect I added some sparkle with Sakura's gelly roll clear star pen. The picture is taken with a flash so the sparkle would show. Hope you have a great weekend! =)

JCC #84

Tässä tämän viikkoiseen JCC:een. Pääsin käyttämään tuota lemppari-kohokuviointitaskuani..justiin kuluneella viikolla Susan kanssa puhelimessa höpöttäessäni totesin että voi kun tekisi mieli tuota taskua käyttää joka paikkaan ;) nyt tilaisuus aukeni enemmän kuin sopivasti. Enkeli on leimattu versafinen vintage sepialla ja väritetty kuparin värisellä vesivärillä. Tekstitarra väritetty ruskeaksi eikä kovin hyvin erotu kuvassa.
Here's my card to week's JCC. I got to use my favorite embossing folder...just this week as I was talking to Susa on the phone I was telling her how I'd like to use that folder everywhere ;) now opportunity knocked and I answered. The angel is stamped with versafine's vintage sepia and colored with copper watercolor. The text ("merry christmas") is a peel off sticker and colored brown.

JCC #83

Ompelukoneellakin tuli taas surauteltua JCC:een. Leimakuva väritetty H2O väreillä ja distress inkeillä. Tovi meni pähkäillessä noiden tähtien ja nappien (kuvan alla) kanssa. Iloista viikonloppua! =)
I used the sewing machine again for the card to JCC. Image is colored with H2Os and distress inks. I took me a while to make this because I didn't figure out the right decorations for this. Have a great weekend! =)

JCC #82

Mä tykkään ihan hirmuisesti tällaisista kierrätyshaasteista, vähän kivaa oli tehdä JCC!! =D Aloitetaanpa alimmasta eli korttipohja on kartonkilehtiön tausta. Kellertävän ruskea tausta kuplamuovikirjekuorta (tuli jotain pientä kivaa tänään jenkeistä ;) - tausta leimattu samasta kuoresta revityllä kuplamuovilla, reunat on kynnellä "ressattu". Kirjaimet on akvarellikartonkilehtiön kannesta. Sininen aaltokartonki on teepaketin kahva. Kukat on leikattu koristeoksasta ja naru jonkun lahjapaketin päältä. Dymoteksti on ikävä kyllä uutta, mut oli pakko ;)

Tässä tämän viikon JCC:een. Penny Blackin leima on feikkiakvarellina toteutettu, pinta kimaltaa valkoista perfect pearlsia. Iloista viikonloppua! =)

JCC #80

Lumiukko tarvitsee kupposen kuumaa kylmässä säässä - minullakin on kupponen kuumaa vieressä kun flunssa on iskenyt päälle (pitäisi olla tällä hetkellä noin 500 kilometriä pohjoisempana anopin synttäreillä mutta ikävä flunssa esti lähdön). JCC:een tällä kortilla mukaan, lumiukko on väritetty H2O väreillä ja distress inkeillä. Leiman ja ison lumitähden sain Raisalta, teksti napsuteltu dymolla. Iloista viikonloppua kaikille! =)
The snowman needs a hot cup of something in cold weather - I also have a nice hot cup of tea with me as the flu has got me (we're suppose to be about 500 kilometers north right now celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday but this nasty cold stopped us leaving). This card is to JCC, the snowman is colored with H2Os and distress inks. The stamp and the large snowflake I got from Raisa, the text is made with dymo (translates merry christmas). JCC:hen tämä tirpunen. Tuon kauniin paperin olen saanut sayltani viime keväänä ja säästellyt sitä, nyt uhrasin vihdoin sen, ihanasti kimaltaa helmiäisenä. Keskimmäisen tirpusen ympärillä kimaltaa myös nuo kiekurat perfect pearlsin ansiosta. Iloista viikonloppua kaikille! =)
This birdie is to JCC. I got that gorgeous paper last spring from my SAY (secret craft friend) and I've been saving it, now I finally dared to use it, thanks to its opalescent surface it shines nicely. There also shines around the big birdie, thanks to perfect pearls. Have a great weekend! =)

Tässä tämän viikkoiseen JCC:hen kortti. Tämä leimasin on täysin unohtunut laatikon pohjalle, olen sen jo alkuvuodesta tilannut jenkeistä. Väritetty distress inkeillä ja rusetit H2O väreillä.
Here's to this week's JCC. This stamp has been on the bottom of my drawer completely forgotten, I ordered it early this year from the US. Colorings with distress inks and bows with H2Os.

Isänpäiväkahvit - Coffee for Father's day

Hyvää lauantaita kaikille, toivottavasti se on korttiaskartelun täyteinen. Tässä minun korttini JCC:hen, ilmeisesti skotti-isälle =) Tagin unohdin kuvata, mutta se siis nousee tuon kahvikupin takaa rusetista. Ja sitten seuraavan kortin kimppuun...

Joulukortteja taasen...toivottavasti ette kyllästy ;) Eli JCC:n luonnoksen mukaan on kortti tehty. Leimakuva on Penny Blackin ja teksti on tarra. Valkoisen sävyt on oikeasti luonnonvalkoista, kuvaan ei välttämättä välittynyt. Iloista viikonloppua! =)
Christmas cards again..hope you don't get bored ;) The card is made to JCC. The stamped image is Penny Black's and the text is a sticker. The white shades are really more natural whites but it doesn't show it in the picture. Have a great weekend! =)

Jehkotar CardChallenge #75

JCC:n haastekortti taas talvisissa maisemissa. Magnolian kuuset on väritetty turkoosilla perfect pearlsilla ja vedellä, kuuset on embossattu valkoisella jauheella. Kuvaan ei välity kunnolla voimakas ja vähän hempeämpi turkoosin sävy, mitä kortti oikeasti on. Nyt me lähdetään hakemaan hoitoon viikonlopun yli yksi karvakuono lisää..varmasti vauhdikas viikonloppu kolmen koiran seurassa tiedossa. Iloista viikonloppua kaikille! =)
The JCC card is again in winter scenery. Magnolia's spruces are colored with turquoise perfect pearls and water and they're embossed with white powder. The picture doesn't show the real turquoise shades that are really quite powerful and the card looks very soft. Now we're off to fetch another dog for daycare..I'm sure we'll have an eventful weekend. Have a great weekend everyone! =)

JCC #74

JCC:een piti tehdä helistinkortti, tässä siitä minun versioni. Näitä on kyllä aina yhtä kiva tehdä, varsinkin kun pitää pähkäillä mitä sitä laittaisi helisemään =). Leimakuva on saatu Susalta, väritetty distress inkeillä ja inktenseillä, taustapaperi old world stackista, juuttinarua (on ihan oikeaoppinen lassokin, pyysin miestä avuksi ;), teksti tulostettu. Ja nyt katsomaan kuka tipahtaa BB:sta! =)
The challenge at JCC is to make a shaker card, here's my version. It's always so much fun to make them as you wonder what to put in the shaker =). Image from Susa, colored with distress inks and inktenses, background paper from old world stack, jute twine (I asked my hubby to make a real lasso for me ;), text printed. And now off to watch who's leaving the Big Brother house tonight! =)

Ihanainen Gorjuss girl pääsi korttiin JCC:hen. Pohjaan on leimailtu Inque Boutiquen kukilla distress inkin faded jeansilla ja versamark dazzlella ja loput on tattered rosella "väritetty". Teksti on samaisesta Inque Boutiquen setistä kuin kukka. Boordissa on frayed burlapilla värjätyn kartongin päällä valkoista "seittiä". Leimakuvan väritin distress inkeillä. Iloista viikonloppua! =)
The lovely Gorjuss girl is the star in this week's JCC card. I've stamped Inque Boutique's flowers on the background with distress ink's faded jeans and versamrk dazzle and the rest is "colored" with tattered rose. The text is from the same Inque Boutique's set as the flowers. The border on the bottom is colored with frayed burlap and then sprayed with webbing spray. The image is colored distress inks.
