tämän viikon case study haasteessa inspiroidutaan joyn herkän kauniista kortista. omaan korttiini embossasin peehosen ja taustan mahongin värisellä kimaltelevalla kohojauheella, taustalla pb:n sydänoksaa moneen kertaan. sitten mustetin distress inkkien kevätsetistä löytyvällä liilalla (shaded lilac) taustan ja perhosen, viimeksi suihkaisin vettä hiukan kauempaa että suihkaus olisi sumuna tasainen. perhosen takana rosetti, johon on pyyhkäisty gessoa. tuo rosetti on kyllä jo tovin ollut tehtynä mutta nyt löysi siis vihdoin paikkansa. lisäksi timpan tapea ja muutama isohko puolihelmi. kaikkiin paperiosiin käytin liukaspintaista 250g kartonkia. iloista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

at this week's case study challenge they're offering joy's gorgeous card for inspiration. to my card i embossed the butterfly and the background with vintage mahogany embossing tinsel. then i inked the parts with distress ink shaded lilac, finally misting them with water from a far to get a more subtle mist. behind the butterfly is a rosette made ages ago, i've applied gesso on it, finally it found it's place. i also added tim's tissue tape and a few large-ish pearls. have a happy week!! =)

viilennellään vähän joulupukin kanssa näin viikon alkuun....pukki väritetty prismacoloreilla. sininen tähtipaperi october afternoonin, punaista aaltokartonkia revitty palanen. hohoho dymolla. lumihiutale marthan leikkurilla, päälle "kiehautettu" kerros gessoa ja rock candy sticklesiä. gessoa pyyhkäisty myös aaltokartongin reunoihin. aurinkoista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

let's cool off with santa...he is colored with prismas. the blue star paper is by ostober afternoon. red torn piece is corrugated card board. hohoho clicked with dymo. snowflake punched with martha's punch, on top a heated layer of gesso and rock candy stickles. i also smeared some gesso on the edges of the red piece. have a great sunny week!! =)

yo-kortti jälleen...cpsn luonnoksen mukaan...lätsä magnolian, teksti timpan. teksti leimattu mustalla valkoiselle kartongille, päälle suihkittu goosebumpsia, sitten mustalla musteella päältä mustetettu. lätsän päällä rock candy sticklesiä. paperi 7gypsiesin. tähdet glossytetty. lisäksi timangeja...kortti osallistuu myös simon says stamp haasteeseen, johon kaikki käy. =)

a graduation card again...according to cps sketch...hat by magnolia, text by tim. text is stamped with black ink on white card stock, then "goosebumped" and finally inked with black ink. hat covered with rock candy stickles. paper by 7gypsies. stars covered with glossy. in addition some diamonds...this card also participates simon says stamp challenge- anything goes. =)

Henry hiirulainenhan se täällä...sydäntä halimassa...ja ihanaa aurinkoista alkavaa viikkoa toivottelemassa. Kortin tein CPSn luonnoksen mukaan. Hiirulainen on väritetty distress inkeillä. Sydäntimangit värjäsin alkoholimusteella mustaksi. Ympyrän reunalla oleva sydänkehys on tehty WOJn reunastanssilla. Teksti on Nea-Idean. =)

It's Henry the mouse here...hugging a heart...and wishing you a sunny happy week. I made this card to CPS. The mouse is colored with distress inks. The heart diamonds are colored with black alcohol ink. The hearts on the edge are die-cut with a WOJ border die. =)

Minäpä suksin lauantaina oitis paikalle päästyäni Purppurataivaan pöydän luo ja hain tän ihanan IBFS:n kieloleiman omaksi. Värittelin kuvan distress inkeillä. Kukinnoissa on lisäksi kimalleliimaa, stickles diamond. Pohja on color me tapestryn paperi, jossa kuvio on valmiiksi resist-pintainen. Siihen hinkkasin sitten päälle distress inkkejä, ja pyyhkäisin kuvioiden pinnat puhtaaksi. Muutama timangi vaan koristeena. Kortti osallistuu CPS haasteeseen. Ihanaa aurinkoista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

This card is made to CPS. I colored the lovely image by IBFS with distress inks. There's stickles diamond on the flowers. The paper is by HOTP and the pattern is a resist surface. I then inked the paper with distress inks and wiped it clean. Only a few diamonds as decorations. Have a lovely sunny week!! =)

aamu alkoi ankeasti hampilääkärissä :( pakko oli piristävää itseään tekemällä doodlekortti CPS:n luonnoksen mukaan. ja joo, fanitan putousta... ;) tää hemmo on vaan just sen näkönen et HÄH? toivottavasti tämä piristää jonkun päivää... =)

my morning started with a visit to the dentist, not fun :( I had to cheer up myself by making a card to CPS with this doodle dude ;) hope this brings joy to someone today... =)

Motivetin pupusella oli ihan pakko saada tänään tehdä kortti. Löytyi vielä CPS:stä kiva luonnoskin. Pupusen väritin H2O väreillä. Höttösiin lisäilin kimalleliima stickles diamond. Paperi on cosmo cricketin. Timangeja sitten muutamassa eri koossa mukaan heitetty kanssa. Iloista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

Today I just had to make a card with this lovely bunny by Motivet. I also found a nice sketch from CPS. I colored the bunny with H2Os. Added some stickles diamond on the image also. Paper is by cosmo cricket. Then some diamonds in different sizes stuck on there too. Have a happy week!! =)

CPS haasteessa voi tällä viikolla valita mieleisensä kuluneen vuoden luonnoksista - valitsin luonnoksen #174. Hero artsin kuva on embossattu distress kohojauheella tea dye. Kuvan alla oleva Elzybellsin teksti on embossattu valkoisella jauheella. Sitten pari kukkaa ja nappia ja vähäsen "hammaslankaa". Simppeliä... =)

This card is to CPS. You can choose the any sketch from 2010 - I chose #174. The hero arts image is embossed with distress powder tea dye. The text (by elzybells) under the image is embossed with white powder. Then just a couple of flowers and buttons and some "floss". Simple... =)

Ihastuin kovasti CPS:n tämän viikon luonnokseen ja sillähän tein sitten samontein pari korttia. Ekassa nallukka liitelee tuomaan tervehdyksen. Liina jolla nallukka lentelee on kuviopaperista leikattu ja puettu kuvaan. Värittelin distress inkeillä. Pienessä paikassa liinassa on kimalleliimaa ja glossya.
I really loved the sketch over at CPS this week so I made two cards instantly with it. In this first one the cute little bear soars by to greet. I paper pieced the bear's "balloon". Colored with distress inks. On the little patch on the "balloon" I put first some glitter glue, then some glossy. Text translates "greetings".
Sitten toinen tämmöi hyvin simppeli kortti. Teksti on inkadinkadon setistä, paperi cosmo cricketin ja nauha juuttia.
The other one is very simple. Text by inkadinkado, paper by cosmo cricket and the ribbon is jute.
Siinäpä ne tälle päivälle...Aurinkoista alkavaa viikkoa!! =)

Uuteen kotiin - New home

Viikko alkaa hiukan erilaisella kortilla, en koskenutkaan leimasimiin tai musteisiin (ehkä olisi pitänyt ;). Uuteen kotiin kortteja on aina kamalan vaikea tehdä, tuntuu ettei idean ideaa ole päässä kun niitä pitää tehdä. Paperit ovat priman. Teksti naputeltu dymolla. Kortti osallistuu CPS haasteeseen sekä Sir Stampalotin blog hoppiin, jossa aiheena "moving". Iloista alkavaa viikkoa!
This week starts with a slightly different card, I haven't even touched stamps or inks. I always find it rather difficult to make "new home" cards, it feels like there's no ideas inside my head at the time (is there ever ;). The papers are from prima and the text is made with dymo (translates "congratulations to a new home"). This card participates to CPS and Sir Stampalot blog hop, where the challenge is moving. Väriläiskä illan pimeyteen.. =) Tämä kortti on tehty CPS haasteeseen. Väritykset H2O värein ja iho distress inkeillä. Nämä swiss pixies tytöt on minusta niin hurmaavia ja iloisia etten osaa ollenkaan tehdä niitä tummempiin sävyihin, siksi siis tämmöinen keväinen tuulahdus tuli tästä. Ja taas tajusin että mulla on glossy jääny laittamatta siipiin, näin käy AINA tämän kuvan kanssa...
A spot of color to a dark evening.. =) This card is to the CPS challenge. Colorings with H2Os and skin with distress inks. These swiss pixie girls are just so lovely and happy that I can't do them in darker shades, that's why this card is so bright and springy. And I just realized that I forgot to glossy her wings, this happens to me every time with this image.

PUSU! - KISS!

Aamulla kaihtimia aukoessa ihastelin puita, jotka ovat "karvoittuneet" yön aikana, upealta näyttävät koivut tuossa ikkunan takana. Sillä fiiliksellä halusin tehdä talvisen kortin ja tämä on tehty CPS-haasteeseen 149 ja pusuja jaellaan =). Sain tämän ihanaisen Mo Manningin leiman joulupukilta (tontut olivat olleet tarkkaavaisia). Kuva väritetty H2O värillä ja ihot distress inkeillä. Turkikset on "flokattu"(en keksinyt parempaakaan sanaa ;) valkoisella fun flockilla. Kuviopaperi on itse tehty distress inkillä, valkoisella perfect pearlsilla ja vedellä suihkien. Ihanaa alkavaa viikkoa! =)
As opened the blinds this morning I was breath-taken by the wintery trees as they looked like they had "grown fur" over night, they look gorgeous. With that feeling I wanted to make a very wintery card to CPS challenge #149 so here's the kiss. I got this lovely Mo Manning stamp from Santa (elves have been attentive ;). The image is colored with an H2O color, the faces with distress inks. The furs have been "flocked" (sorry couldn't come up with a better word) with white fun flock. The patterned paper I made myself with a distress ink, white perfect pearls and water. Have a wonderful week! =)

Peikkotytön jouluntoivotus - Holiday wishes from the goblin girl

Magnolian peikkotyttö pääsi pitkästä aikaa korttiin. Typsykkä on väritetty distress inkeillä. Ja taas niitä itse tehtyjä kukkia, nyt vähän paranneltuna versiona - eli kukka on tehty kolmesta kerroksesta samaa leimakuvaa leikattuna, keskellä on askarteluhelmiä ja glossya, ja sitten on päälle vielä suihkautettu veden ja keltaisen perfect pearlsin sekoitusta. Mulla on semmoi hytinä että näitä saatatte nähdä vielä ennen joulua TOSI paljon ;) Kortti osallistuu Just Magnolian ja CPS:n haasteisiin. Iloista viikonlopun alkua kaikille! Toivottavasti "nähdään" huomenna maailman korttiaskartelupäivän merkeissä. =)
I made a card with that lovely goblin girl from Magnolia since it's been a while since I've inked her. The girl is colored with distress inks. The text translates Merry Christmas. And again these self-made flowers, now a bit improved - the flower is made of three layers of the same stamped image, there's tiny pearls and glossy in the middle and the whole thing is sprayed with a yellow perfect pearls and water mix. I have a feeling you might see a lot of these before christmas ;) This card is for two challenges: Just Magnolia and CPS. Have a great weekend everyone! Kaivelin toissa iltana leimasimia ja sieltä löytyi tämä unohdettu aarre, tykkään kovasti tuosta tytöstä siis =). Kuva väritetty distress inkeillä ja inktensillä, fiskarsin levyllä kohokuvioitu whitewash kartonkia, harmaa kuviopaperi on old world stackistä. Korupiikin helmet ovat liilan sävyjä, näyttävät vaan kovasti tummilta kuvassa. Kortti tehty CPS haasteen luonnoksen mukaan.
I dug my stamp drawer the other night and found this forgotten jewel, I really like this image =). Image is colored with distress inks and one inktense, I embossed the whitewash card stock with fiskars' embossing plate, the grey patterned paper is from old world stack. The pearls on the stick are lilac shades, they just look very dark on the picture. The card is made to CPS.

Ihana Edwin poju pääsi korttiin CPS:n haasteeseen. Poitsu on väritetty H2O väreillä ja distress inkeillä, tausta on "sotkettu" chalkseilla. Napit on oikeaan laitaan kirkkaalla kohojauheella leimattu. Nauha on oranssin väristä organzaa, vähän lisä-"blingiä" tuomaan. Olen kyllä niin vallan ihastunut noihin H2O väreihin, tahtoo ne kaikki!!! =)
The lovely Edwin made it to this card for the CPS challenge. The boy is colored with H2Os and distress inks, the background is "messed" with chalks. The buttons on the right are embossed with clear powder. The ribbon is orange coloured organza, to add a little more "bling" to this. I'm so in love with the H2O colors, want them all!!!! =)

Josko tänään olisi hiukan tyytyväisempi tuotoksiinsa... Mietiskelevä Tilda pääsi korttiin haaveilemaan. Tilda väritetty distress inkeillä. Nappi piti varastaa miehen paidasta (se onneksi oli vaan varanappi ;) Dream-sana on tarra ja perhosten päällä on koholakkaa. Kortilla osallistun CPS haasteeseen.
I'm a little bit happier with today's creations...I made a card with this dreamy Tilda. She's colored with distress inks. I had to steal the button from my hubby's shirt (luckily it was the spare one ;) The word "dream" is a sticker and there's glossy accents on top of the butterflies. This card is to the CPS challenge
