timpan kirjahaaste haastaa tällä kertaa sivulta 58...lisänä embossasin päälle timpan blueprint setistä limsapullon ja jäden ja värittelin distress inkeillä...leikkasin irti ja kohotin tarrapaloilla...pohjaan leimasin samat leimat mustalla...lisänä timpan etikettitarrat ja nuolet...muutama lasidropsi ja helmet tehtynä enamel accents aineilla...haastetta sponsoroi the funkie junkie boutique... =)

the cc3c8 is from page 58 this time...on top of the background i embossed tim's blueprints soda and ice cream and colored them with distress inks...cut them and elevated with foam pads...i stamped them again with black archival ink to the background...then i added tim's labels and arrows...a few glass drops and few pearls made with enamel accents...the challenge is sponsored by the funkie junkie boutique... =)

cc3 haasteessa ollaan timpan kirjassa sivulla 46...tausta tehty silleensä mun kortissa...päälle kohottelin timpan perhosia, värittelin neocolor II vahaväreillä...kortin halusin jättää mahdollisimman simppeliksi, niin koristeeksi pääsi vain ketjua ja timpan metallinen sanalaatta...haastetta sponsoroi inspiration emporium... =)

at cc3c the challenge comes from page 46...on top i elevated butterflies from tim's french flight set (love it!!!), i colored the butterflies with neocolor II crayons...i wanted to leave the card very simple to show off the background, so i only added some chain and tim's philosophy tag...the challenge is sponsored by inspiration emporium... =)

timpan kirjahaasteen aihe löytyy sivulta 39 haasteeseen #5...tein pari keskikokoista tagia rippipäiväksi, kukkien kanssa annettavaksi...tagit leikkasin kartongista jolla olin "putsannut" gelli platea...käytetyt leimat dina wakleyn (paitsi teksti rippipäivänä)...pikkuisen mustettelua timpan maskin kanssa myös...perhosia stanssasin memory boxin stanssilla platinan värisellä kohojauheella embossatusta kartongin palasesta...haastetta sponsoroi inspiration emporium...

for the 5th cc3 challenge you can find instructions on page 39...i made two medium sized tags...i die-cut the tags of a card stock piece i had used to clean my gelli plate...stamps used are by dina wakley (except for the text)...some inking with tim's stencil...butterflies were die-cut with a memory box die of a piece a card stock i embossed with platinum powder...the challenge is sponsored by inspiration emporium...

 timpan kirjahaasteessa ollaan menossa haasteessa nro 3 ja sivu on tällä kertaa 65 - faux tea rose technique. omat ruusuni stanssasin timpan kellopaprusta, päälle frosted film kalvoa. tauluni on kokoa 6x6 ja pohjaan on käytetty vähän kaikennäköistä - pastoja, maaleja, mustaa enamel accentsia, gessoa luonnollisesti ja suklaarasian "välipaperia" luomaan tekstuuria. lisänä on timpan ja priman kaikenlaista härpätystä. haastetta sponsoroi inspiration emporium. =)

at cc3c it's time for challenge #3 and the technique can be found from page 65 - faux tea rose technique. i die-cut my roses from tim's lost&found paper stash's clock paper, added frosted film on them before die-cutting. this mixed-media canvas is in size 6x6 and i used a bit of this and that on base - pastes, paints, black enamel accents (made it in to paint to achieve a wet look for the skull), gesso of course and chocolate box wrappers underneath everything to create texture. decorations by tim and prima. the challenge is sponsored by inspiration emporium. =)

otsikointi merkkaa sitä että timpan uuden kirjan haasteet ovat alkaneet...compendium of curiosities 3 kirjasta on kyse ja eka haaste löytyy kirjasta sivulta 43 - paint marbling... taustan tein kirjan oppien mukaan. päälle leimasin penny blackin ihanan unikon, ja väritin sen neocolor II liiduilla, ääriviivoja mukaillen käytin valkoista geelikynää. hiukan mustettelua myös maskin läpi. tekstit technique tuesdayn. perhosen kaksi kerrosta on kuultopaperia timpan stanssilla leikattuna, kynän kärki myös timpan mallistoa. ensimmäistä haastetta sponsoroi inspiration emporium.

the cryptic headline means that challenges from tim holtz' books compendium of curiosities are back...this time the book is compendium of curiosities 3 and the first challenge can be found from page 43 - paint marbling...i made the background using the technique. on it i stamped penny black's large poppy (which i looove) and colored it with neocolor II crayons, outlined with a white gel pen. a bit of inking with a stencil too. text stamps are by technique tuesday. i cut the two layers of the butterfly of white vellum with tim's die, the pen nib is also by tim. the first challenge is sponsored by inspiration emporium.

on timpan synttäripäivä ja ihanan lindan luotsaama compendium of curiosities haaste juhlistaa päivää sillä että tehdään timpalle kortti timpan tekniikoin...kortista käytin hyödykseni monen monta timpan tekniikkaa ja tuotetta, mm. cc1-kirjasta s.33, cc2 s.63. cc1-kirjan tekniikka pätee myös simon says stamp&show haasteen teemaan, jotain vanhaa...se on se tekniikka joka ei koskaan petä ja jota oon tehnyt jo kauan. samaan haasteeseen sopii myös vanhasta nuottikirjasta stanssattu rosetti.  simon says stamp haasteessa taas kaivattiin jotain uutta, no sattumalta posti toi tänään tullessaan pari timpan leimasettiä joita on kortissa käytetty.  =)

today is tim's birthday and over at studiol the lovely linda is hosting the final cc2 challenge; create a birthday card fo tim...i used many of tim's techniques and products, including from cc1 page 33, cc2 page 63. the technique from cc1 also goes well with the theme at simon says stamp&show - embrace the old. this technique never fails and it's always so much fun. also the snowflake rosette fits in the sss&s challenge as it is die-cut from an old note book page. then again over at simon says stamp challenge they wanna see something new so i used 2 new stamp set by tim in the card i got in the mail today. =)

jouluistako???

tässä nyt sitten jotain tosi jouluista...lahjapakettina... ;) koska tämä menee teinitytsykälle niin halusin sen tehdä tosi karuksi kun tykkää pääkalloista...tätiinsä tullut... ;) eli urakka alkoi vanhasta kiskis-namu laatikosta...gessoa pintaan pari kerrosta, kanteen kolmas kerros maskin läpi. kuivaus ja dylusions suihkeita pintaan. reunoille timpan teippiä. tähtiä punchasin kanssa timpan teipillä päällystetystä kartongista. tähtiin laitoin sitten rock candy crackle painttia ja rock candy dry glitteriä, tulee minusta magee efekti kun käyttää noita yhdessä. =)

here's something very christmasy... ;) ...i'm gonna gift wrap one teenager girl's christmas present in this...she likes skulls (liker her auntie.. ;) so i thought this could be something she could use after christmas too...so the project started with an old candy box (which you can see in the pic below), few layers of gesso, final layer of gesso on the top was applied with a stencil and a palette knife. then let dry and sprayed with 2 dylusions colors. the edges were tissue taped. the stars were punched of card stock that was first tissue taped. the stars were covered with rock candy crackle paint and then immediately after with rock candy dry glitter and let dry, i love the effect they produce together. =)

here's some winter feel to cc2 #26, sponsored by the funkie junkie boutique. the technique and instructions can be found from the cc2 from page 40. i added to this card some stamping with inkido's stamp, die-cut stems which have glass glitter on the ends and some jute twine. =)

sain tänään postissa "lamppuja" ja niiden muovikääreet inspiroivat minua tekemään kortin timpan kirjahaasteeseen, tekniikka löytyy tällä viikolla timpan kirjasta compendium of curiosities 2 sivulta 59. lamppukupuihin laitoin sisälle rock candy sticklesiä ja rock candy dry glitteriä, samoin tein muovin ulkopuolella paikoitellen. muutama punchattu lumihiutale ja helmi lisänä. =)

i got "lamps" today in the post and their package inspired me to make a christmas card to cc2 #24, tehcnique can be found in the compendium of curiosities 2 from page 59. inside the bulb frames i added rock candy stickles and rock candy dry glitter, i also did the same to the front of the card here and there. finally added a few punched snowflakes and pearls. =)

here's a tag to cc2c23...technique for this week's challenge can be found from page 50 in compendium of curiosities 2 by tim. i first did the base for the tag with stains, including the one new metallic stain, tarnished brass. then i stamped the image and text and colored the image. finished the tag with stamping, inking through stencils and dripping of paint. =)

timpan kirjahaasteessa tekniikka löytyy sivulta 44 tällä viikolla, enameled stamping. tagiin käytin timpan leimaa, stansseja ja distress inkkejä. siivet stanssattu grungepaperista, inkitetty ja kirkkaalla uteella embossattu. mallinukke kohokuvioitu, mustetyynyllä värjätty ja suihkutetty itsetehdyllä kultaisella perfect pearls suihkeella. ruttunauha itsevärjätty myös. lisänä vaan haaraniittejä ja timpan hakaneula. eipä siitä sen enempää... =)

you can find this week's technique for ccc2 from page 44 in tim's book - enameled stamping. i used tim's stamp, dies and distress inks on my tag. wings are die-cut of grungepaper, inked and embossed with utee. the mannequin is embossed with sizzix' folder, inked with distress ink pad and misted with diy gold perfect pearls mist. seam binding ribbon i dyed with wild honey distress ink pad. then i added just brads and tim's "safety pin". well...that's about it... =)

tässä blogissa on näköjään meneillään joku epävirallinen stampotique-viikko kun näitä nyt tuppaa joka päivä, no minkäs sille mahtaa kun ovat niin ihquja leimoja... =)

leimakuva leimattu mustalla archival inkillä ekolle, ja reunoille leimailua sekä perfect pearls roiskeita. taustapaperi on timpan kraft resistia ja käsitelty timpan kirjasta ccc2 löytyvillä ohjeilla. mustat palaset on timpan kraft corea hiottuna ja kaistale kuvan alla on pistelty timpan piikillä. lisäksi tähän korttiin löysi tiensä teippejä, nappeja, ekosta lävistetyt mustetetut tähdet (rock candy sticklesöity myös) ja klemmari. distress inkeistä käytetyt sävyt on picked raspberry ja salty ocean, reunoja hiukan walnut stainilla. =)

i think this is an unofficial stampotique week here in my world as they seem to appear in all my cards this week, well what you gonna do when their just so adorable... =)

hunk is stamped on kraft with black archival ink, edges stamped and inked with distress inks, some splatters made with perfect pearls. the paper is tim's kraft resist on which i used techniques found from tim's book ccc2. black bits are tim's kraft core sanded and the piece behind the image is pierced with tim's craft pick. also tapes, buttons, punched inked stars (also stickled with rock candy) of kraft and a paper clip found their way in this card. distress ink shades used in this card: picked rasberry, salty ocean and some walnut stain on the edges. =)
