Compendium of Curiosities #15: Alcohol Ink Agate on Grunge

sitten timppaillaan taas, tällä viikolla vuorossa kirjasta sivu 53. Leimattu alue, lehdet ja ruusut on grungepaperia, kaikki värjätty mintunvihreällä akryylimaalilla, ruusuja tosin vain osin. Ruusut saivat muuten värinsä victorian velvet värillä ja valkoisella perfect pearls jauheella tehdystä suihkeesta. Lehtiin laitoin päälle twinklets diamond dustia. Teksti on leimattu kuultopaperille. Lumiukko ja havuleimat on timpan. Nuottitausta on vanhaa paperia omilta koulukuoroajoilta (ja niistä onkin sitten tovi pyörähtänyt ;) jonka mustetin distress inkeillä. Kortti osallistuu myös Simon says stamp and show haasteeseen - grunge . Aurinkoista viikonloppua!! =)
it's time for the CCC card here in my world, page is 53 where this fabulous technique can be found. The image, leaves and roses are all made of grungepaper, and painted with juniper adirondack's acrylic paint dapper, the roses though just partly. I colored the roses with a mist made with victorian velvet and white perfect pearls. I put some twinklets diamond dust on the leaves. The text is stamped on vellum, aged with inks (translates "merry christmas"). The snowman and twigs are tim's stamps. The music sheet on the background is from my own school choir days (and let me tell you it's been a while since those days ;) and inked with antique linen, victorian velvet and walnut stain. This card also participates to Simon says stamps and show challenge - grunge. Have a sunny weekend!! =)
