I know this is literally at the last minute but I really wanted to take part in the first artsy challenge at StampARTic. I've done this "framed card" already once in more delicate colors, but I was left to wonder how would it look like in yellow. Well, I had one more frame left on my desk that I made earlier and so I knew I had to try. Background is made with distress inks, the grass is drawn with refills. The text is embossed with clear powder on top of the yellow background. The frame is first painted with gesso, then I put some rock candy crackle paint on, then inks - yellow and 2 browns. The butterfly is a die by Tim Holtz, the vines are by sizzix. There's rock candy stickles on the top layer of the butterfly. The leaves are made so that I first put yellow distress ink on, then some clear powder, some of it flicked off, melted and finally some brown inks on top.

*EDIT*
..nonni, miten niin unenpöpperössä, pistin sitten ensin kuvankin siitä pinkistä ;) ja höh, tämäkin kuva vaihtuu päivänvalossa toivottavasti parempaan..
..that's what you get when your eyes are half shut, now here's a picture of the yellow one ;) I'll try to take a better pic in daylight..
